Ebook Translator is a plugin for Calibre, the desktop ebook manager, released under the GPL v3 license. It works with the ebook formats Calibre supports, lets you choose among many translation engines, and can place the translation below, above, to the right or to the left of the original, or replace the original. Its Advanced Mode lets you review and edit translations before the ebook is written, and it can use a glossary file.
Easy Book Translation covers a narrower path. You do not need Calibre or an account with a translation engine. You upload an ePub in the browser, we build a glossary from the whole book automatically, translate every paragraph on our servers, and return an ePub with each translation under its original paragraph. You can edit any paragraph afterwards and export again.
If you already manage your library in Calibre, the plugin fits right into it. If you do not use Calibre and only want the bilingual book, a hosted tool saves you the setup. The table only uses what the plugin's README and wiki state and what our product does today.
